Headed by Vanessa Low Mendelson , Managing Director
Vanessa Low Mendelson has an encyclopedic knowledge of the Manhattan real estate market and an extensive track record of success in all facets of real estate sales and marketing, especially in new developments. With over 21 years of combined new development and resale experience, she reigns as a top-producer in the industry with well over $1 billion in sales.
Vanessa has led the sales effort for various high end new developments throughout Manhattan including 77 Greenwich, The Belnord at 225 West 86th Street, 301 West 53rd Street, 73 Wooster Street, Downtown by Philippe Starck at 15 Broad Street, Tribeca Summit at 415 Greenwich Street, 255 Hudson Street, The William Beaver House at 15 William Street and The Riverhouse at 2 River Terrace.
In positions as a Sales Director with The Marketing Directors and Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, Vanessa draws upon her expertise to consult on projects from pre-development and marketing, all the way through the final stages of sales and closing. Prior to joining Douglas Elliman, Vanessa was the Managing Director of the real estate firm L.G. Fairmont Group, and led on-site sales and marketing for Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. From creating marketing strategies, to advising on negotiations, Vanessa has established relations with top developers, architects and designers. She has been featured on CNN and RTL German National Television, as well as in The New York Times, New York Magazine, The New York Observer, and other real estate publications and blogs, for her exceptional understanding of the real estate industry.
Beyond real estate, Vanessa has held positions at cultural and corporate institutions such as the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Marlborough Gallery, the Arts and Antiquities Division of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, the Art Commission of the City of New York and AIG. Vanessa's unique background in art, design and urban planning and her passion for real estate, provide a broad invaluable skillset and insight for the buyers, sellers and developers she represents. Vanessa is also involved in a number of charitable organizations including The Cooke School and Institute and Center for Hearing and Communication while also serving as a Parent’s Association grade representative at The Calhoun School on the Upper West Side.
